Thomas Rose Miles RCA

Thomas Rose Miles (1869-1910) was an artist who painted mainly landscape and marine scenes of the north east of England, often featuring a human element. His naval works aim to capture the bravery of man in battling with the harsh conditions of the sea.
Miles exhibited with the Royal Academy, the Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Hibernian Society and Arthur Tooth and Sons Gallery in London.
