Sean Lorinyenko
Artist Bio
Sean Lorinyenko grew up in county Donegal before attending Oxford Brookes University. Having completed the Royal Institute of British Architects exams he has worked in architecture in both the United Kingdom and Ireland for several years and travelled extensively during this time.
Now living and working in Donegal, Lorinyenko has shifted his focus to painting. Lorinyenko marries together these joint passions of painting and architecture in his work by producing vivid and bold watercolour drawings with a keen attention to buildings. In addition to these paintings Lorinyenko also draws upon the rural landscapes of Ireland with a particular focus on Donegal’s rugged coast at Downings and Tra Na Rossan.
