Artist Bio
Olive Henry was born in Belfast and was educated at the Belfast School of Art. Henry’s artistic career began when she was offered an apprenticeship with a glass firm in Belfast. During this apprenticeship she rarely got the time to work under her own conditions.
Henry’s work is regularly on show in the Belfast Art Society, the Ulster Academy of Arts, the Royal Hibernian Academy and the Royal Ulster Academy. She was one of the founding members of the Ulster Society of Women Artists and was also a past president of it.
