Mary Theresa Keown
Artist Bio
Mary Theresa Keown is a contemporary painter who was born in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh in 1974 and studied at the University of Ulster in Belfast, graduating with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine art.
She exhibits regularly both in Ireland, including at the Mullan Gallery in Belfast, and internationally. Keown was presented with the Ireland Fund of Great Britain Artist of the Year Award (2001) and the Whyte’s Award at the RHA Annual Exhibition. Her work is part of several government department collections, the Office of Public Works and AIB.
