Ken Giles
Artist Bio
Ken Giles was born in 1954 and studied at the Ulster University, gaining a BA Hons Degree in Art and Design. He has a studio in Ballyhackamore, East Belfast, and aside from painting has worked in interior and clothing design. A self-described abstract and figurative artist, Giles’ work is centred more on texture than subject.
He has exhibited with Gormley’s in Belfast, Gilmore’s in Holywood and Melbourne Gallery in Australia. His work is also held in private collections in Dublin, London and New York. Ken was accepted three times for exhibit in the RUA.
