Lisa Ballard ARUA
Artist Bio
Lisa Ballard was born in Belfast in 1981. She studied Fine Art Painting at Belfast College of Art, University of Ulster. After graduating in 2003 she went on to win the both the President’s Prize and “Original Vision” prize at the Royal Ulster Academy. Ballard has exhibited in solo shows in both the Mullan Gallery and Gormleys. Her artwork draws upon the constantly changing light and seasons of the Irish landscape, often focusing on the North Coast and Donegal. Ballard is an Associate Member of the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts.
