Hugh Frazer is known for oil paintings of the urban environment of Dublin, Belfast or Brussels. Frazer explores the difference between old and new and also the use of light and shadow, both of which determine the shape of what you are creating.
Hugh has a particularly emotional approach towards his subject, which creates a rather dark image and represent the solitude and segregation of the city. As a result, this sort of painting requires a particular viewer with perhaps the same approach to Frazer.
Hugh has exhibited his works throughout Ireland as well as in Brussels in 2007 and 2009.
