David Bellamy

David Bellamy is particularly fascinated by nature and its moods such as mountains and coastal scenes. Bellamy is a full time artist and author and has written a total of seventeen books, which are illustrated with his paintings. Along with these books, he has produced eight dvd’s, which reveal his techniques in watercolour.

Bellamy’s main objective through his painting and writing is to bring about a greater awareness of our environment and to start actively conserving the areas, which need our attention. One campaign, which David led, was to preserve the Welsh Hills from the Wind Turbine Developments.

Bellamy holds watercolour demonstrations where he will demonstrate his talent, however, it is interesting to see that he never repeats anything and will always have a new demonstration prepared, depending on his audience.
