Charles Harper RHA

Charles Harper is a landscape and figure painter born in Co. Kerry in 1943. He was educated at the Limerick School of Art and then furthered his education at the National College of Art in Dublin. Today, Harper’s work is regularly exhibited in countries such as Ireland, India, Switzerland, Italy, Latvia, England, France, the USA and Sweden.

Charles has accumulated several awards over the years such as, first prize for a painting commemorating the 1916 Rising at the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art, Dublin. The Arts Councils Bonn an Uachtaráin de Hide at The Oireachtas Art Exhibition. Today, his work can be seen in both public and private collections.
