Artist Bio

Andrew Hood was born in Edinburgh in 1964. He worked as a graphic designer before studing illustration. He has exhibited frequently with the RWA, RHA and the London Art Fair, as well as with the Oriel gallery, Dublin, Beaux Arts, Bath and the Weifhaus Gallery near Eindhoven. Andrew often travels abroad to gain inspiration for his paintings, depicting Tuscany, France, Morocco and Croatia, whilst still being influenced by the local landscapes of the UK and Ireland.
